Cheryl Osborn - Psicoterapia Bilingüe para Adultos, Adolescentes y Niños

About Me

Hi! I’m Cheryl Osborn, an American psychotherapist. I have lived and worked in Spain since 1996. In my over 20 years of experience in both therapeutic and educational settings I have worked with clients from many different cultures and nationalities. I am open and accepting of all people regardless of their sexual orientation, ethnic, cultural or socio-economic background.

My initial training began in California, earning a BS in Psychology from Santa Clara University in 1990, with the clear goal of becoming a psychotherapist. So, as cultural differences have always fascinated me, in 1994, I went on to get a Masters from San José State University with a multicultural emphasis and a specialization in psychotherapy for children and families.

From there, I have expanded my horizons in different techniques, such as Neuropsychology, Mindfulness, Breath-work, Tapping (Emotional Freedom Techniques), Gestalt, Play therapy, Sand Tray Therapy, Family Systems, and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy among others.

As well as individual therapy, I also do group therapy in school and mental health care settings, and give psycho-educational talks.

My degree is validated by the Spanish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities and I am officially registed as member M-20732 of the the Psychology Professional Association of Madrid (Colegio Oficial de la Psicología de Madrid, COPM).
